Philly does love Reading Terminal Market. This is true. Tourists love it. Philly loves it. It’s one of the few places that most people can find a way to enjoy.
That said, LOLadelphia reader Anna brought up a good point when she emailed us this advertisement in that this particular picture is borderline creepy.
Every time this woman goes to Reading Terminal Market she discovers something new. I believe that. Most recently I discovered that the sushi place at Reading Terminal is terrible, and the time before that I discovered that DiNic’s roast pork is a massive disappointment when compared to John’s Roast Pork and Tony Luke’s. However, every time I see this advertisement I’m going to be looking under my bed and in my closet to make sure I’m not being watched because this lady…kinda sorta scares me. I feel like if I look at this picture long enough my soul will be sucked out of my body.
