I don’t consider myself, at the age of 26 to be old. However, if the Phillies are going to keep doing their “90’s Retro Night”at Citizens Bank Park, I might feel old very fast. The best part of when the Phillies do these theme nights is the photoshops of the players and broadcasters that appear on the video screen. Given the sorry state of our Phillies this year, the organization really had to step it up in order to keep people somewhat interested in what is going on with the team. The Phillies did not disappoint. Here are some of the photos from 90’s Retro Night, courtesy of Crossing Broad.
Leave it to the Phillies broadcasters to make a bad-ass movie look like “Baby’s Day Out.”
Perfect.
Not sure what Juan Pierre’s character was supposed to be.
Chase Utley is here to eat your soul.
Hey, both Ryan Howard and Dr. Dre are sellouts. This works out well.
Sometimes Dom looks like he’s doing the Carlton dance when trying to play outfield.
I like it, but I’m not sure if Sam Jackson’s character in “Pulp Fiction”would.
I would take Polanco over Goldblum in “Jurassic Park”any day of the week.
I never watched “Full House”because it struck me as boring and hokey. This photo conveys that perfectly.
Lastly, Vance Worley as Kevin McCallister from “Home Alone,”minus the drug addiction, relationship with Mila Kunis, and friendship with Michael Jackson.

This is an awesome thing the Phillies do, and one of many reasons why Citizens Bank Park is one of the best places in Philadelphia to spend a night. Excuse me, I have to go drink my prune juice and take a walk around the mall because this post has made me feel really old. It would have been really awesome if they gave everyone there a can of Surge and a bag of Dorito’s 3-D’s.
